Impact

The Environmental Stewards Program aims to engage young adults in meanginful opportunities focused on the improvement. management and/or rehabilitation of our environment and natural resources.  Additionally, the ES Program strives to engage local young adults on local projects in their communities.

Here are a few highlights and successes:

• 85% of Corpsmembers served in their own community in 2013
• Environmental Stewards Program worked closely with the Western Hardrock Watershed VISTA team and placed interns in small non-profit watershed organizations in towns affected by historic hardrock mining.
