Marianela Rosas is researching new technologies to avoid over fertilization of soil which can lead to underground water pollution.

Currently I'm doing a practice (as a requisite for my Master Degree) in a Research Institute where I work as part of a Project in N (nitrogen) losses through air and soil which objective is to gain knowledge in the behavior of this important nutrient in our soils. Plus, I'll be working in new technologies, measuring the amount of nitrogen  in slurry in order to avoid overfertilization of soils and therefore, pollution of underground water.
